As we kick off 2025, we are excited to bring you our very first Hookin’ Veterans newsletter! Over the years, we’ve built an incredible community of Veterans, volunteers, and supporters who have helped us create lasting memories on the water. Now, we’re inviting you to be part of something even bigger—our upcoming Fishing Event in West Palm Beach, Florida, from February 26 to March 2, 2025.
Reflections on Our Journey
From surprise first responder escorts in North Palm Beach to helping Vietnam Veterans reunite after 52 years, Hookin’ Veterans has always been about more than just fishing—it’s about healing, camaraderie, and giving back. Our last fishing trip was a testament to this, with Veterans sharing stories of how these events provided much-needed therapeutic relief. As one of our past attendees put it:
“This trip gave me a sense of peace I haven’t felt in years. Just being out there, connecting with fellow Veterans, made all the difference.”
Upcoming Fishing Event: February 26 – March 2, 2025
We’re gearing up for our first fishing event of the year, and we need your help to make it a success! This multi-day excursion will bring together Veterans for an unforgettable experience, filled with fishing, friendship, and the kind of support that only a tight-knit community can provide.
To make this event possible, we’re seeking donations and sponsorships to cover boat rentals, lodging, food, and gear. Every dollar counts, and with your support, we can continue giving back to those who have given so much for us.
